Compare opportunities using the same assumptions so the differences are meaningful.
Create a consistent comparison #
- Analyze and save each property.
- Use the same rental strategy and income period.
- Use comparable down-payment assumptions.
- Apply the same expense categories and reserve treatment.
- Review income, cash needed, payment, cash flow, and available score details together.
Look beyond the highest score #
Consider operating restrictions, repairs, seasonality, management demands, and confidence in the income evidence. A property with a larger estimated cash flow may also need more cash or more operational work.
Prepare the shortlist #
Identify the strongest candidates and the unanswered questions for each. Use the property comparison available in your workspace where supported. If a comparison control is unavailable, retain the individual reports and request help reviewing them together.
