# Enter and verify a property address

Select the correct address before relying on property-specific research. Address verification helps associate the analysis with the intended location.

## Use an address suggestion

1. Enter the street address in the property field.
2. Select the matching autocomplete suggestion when available.
3. Check the street number, city, state, and ZIP code.
4. Include the correct unit when relevant.

A similar street name or nearby property can produce the wrong research context.

## If the suggestion is missing

Use the manual address option available in the preliminary check. Enter the complete address and recheck spelling and ZIP code. New construction, rural addresses, and units may need manual review.

## What verification means

Address verification is not proof of ownership, zoning, rental legality, permitting, or lender eligibility. Confirm local operating requirements separately before committing to the property.
