# What to do when an address is not found

If autocomplete does not find the property, check the address and use the manual entry path available in the preliminary check.

## Check the address

1. Confirm street number and spelling.
2. Include city, state, and ZIP code.
3. Check unit details for a condo or multi-unit address.
4. Try the complete postal address rather than a listing nickname.

## Use manual entry

Enter the complete address manually when the flow offers that option. Confirm it again before continuing. Manual entry does not guarantee matching market data or verified property details.

## Escalate the right information

If the property still cannot be researched, contact the team with the address, the stage where you stopped, and the visible error. A screenshot of the error is useful if it excludes personal account and financial information. Do not substitute a neighboring property to produce a result.
